The ULTRAFLOW Siphonic Roof Drainage System involves the design and installation of a unique roof outlet and specialised pipework. In a genuine siphonic system, these elements will prevent air intrusion and allow the system to run full bore during a rainstorm. Unlike conventional (or gravity) systems, this creates a negative pressure at the location of the outlet, the magnitude of which is dependent on the configuration of the pipework. This negative pressure literally sucks the water along the horizontal collector pipe and down the downpipe.
