Knox Grammar School is one of Sydney’s premier high schools located on Upper North Shore and a student intake in excess of 1,300. It has a verys strong sporting heritage and always been proud of it’s swimming pedigree. The requirement of the new Great Hall was to imbued the Knox history and a sense of occasion for special events attracting up to 2,000 people, while simultaneously meeting the daily requirements of the school for a sports facilities. As a result the complex has a grand entry foyer, with cerimonial stairs addressing the boulevard and a hall with seating capacity for 2,300 people. At the lower level is a 50m FINA approved Olympic swimming pool and purpose build weights room.
